Daniel May has recently returned from the USA, which he visited as part of an Endeavour Research Fellowship to support his PhD research into the politics of Aboriginal Australian and Native American burning. Daniel has written a fascinating ‘story from the field’ about his experience, presenting an important comparative perspective on this critical issue. You can read his piece on the ANU Centre for Environmental History website, here.
