The DFG Emmy-Noether Research Group “Hazardous Travels Ghost Acres and the Global Waste Economy” welcomes you to the conference “Hazardous Hope: Exploring New Ways of Narrating Toxic Bodies and Landscapes?” The conference will take place at the Rachel Carson Center for Environment and Society in Munich, Germany, on December 10-11, 2020. The tandem keynote lecture will be held by environmental historian Kate Brown (University of Maryland, Baltimore) and the artists of the institute for incongruous translation at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich on the evening of December 9, 2020.
