The Australian Garden History Society’s annual conference is happening online this year, owing to the covid-19 pandemic. Grace Karskens will be delivering the conference keynote “The pleasures and politics of gardening in the
colony of New South Wales”. The conference has a rich program featuring many friends of the Australian and Aotearoa New Zealand Environmental History Network, including Janine Kitson, who will be delivering a paper “Sydney’s ‘Cosmopolitan Conservationists’ – Why their vision remains”.

Further program, speaker and registration details available at the AGHS website.
