Monash environmental historian and AANZEHN member Dr Ruth Morgan has been announced as a member of a Working Group of the next report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), the United Nations body for assessing the science relating to climate change. Dr Morgan is a member of Working Group II, dealing with impacts, adaptation and vulnerability. She will be a lead author on Chapter 4, dealing with Water, in the Sixth Assessment report. Drafting commences in April this year.
