On 21 July 2021 (1pm AEST), The Royal Australian Historical Society is hosting an online talk by Dr Jodi Frawley, titled “Cooking up a storm: Mina Rawson in Colonial Queensland”. Dr Frawley is Principal Historian with Stonehouse Research, which specialises in environmental history work. Her talk will focus on famous cookbook author Mina Rawson’s ‘frontier’ years in the Great Sandy Strait between 1880 and 1883.
