The Australian and Aotearoa New Zealand Environmental History network is seeking an HDR representative to join its Steering Committee.
Please note that this is a volunteer role (i.e. unpaid). Benefits include: 1. mentoring by Steering Committee members in leadership; and 2. participation in decision-making regarding the Network’s activities (including conference sessions, other events, resources provided to the wider environmental history community, etc).
The role would require attending Steering Committee meetings (held four times a year), advising of HDR matters and needs within the environmental history community, and leading HDR initiatives (depending on availability).
The time period for occupying this role is negotiable. The HDR representative needs to be currently undertaking an HDR degree (e.g. PhD, MPhil, MRes, etc).
