The editors of the ANU Historical Journal II are delighted to invite submissions for the Journal’s sixth issue, due for publication in mid-2027.

The ANU Historical Journal II is an open-access, peer-reviewed academic journal. Publishing broadly on history and history-related topics (including classics, art history and literature), the ANUHJ II welcomes submissions from authors at all career stages. Undergraduate and postgraduate students, academics, and alumni from all Australian universities are all invited to submit.

The ANUHJ II will accept journal articles, essays, book reviews, and select scholarly creative projects that take history as a major theme as submissions. Text submissions should be within the range of 5,000 to 8,000 words, including footnotes in Chicago style.
