Research Grants, DECRAs and Postdoctoral Fellowships
Rebecca Jones (ANU) will run an information, question and answer session designed for those postgraduate history students and ECRs who are considering applying for research grants, DECRAs & other postdoc fellowships. What are they? Where to look for them? What makes a fundable proposal? How to apply? When is the best time to apply? What are their advantages and disadvantages?
This session is primarily aimed at later year PhD history students and historians in the first few years after submitting their PhD but is open to anyone who wants to participate, including earlier year PhD students. There will be plenty of time for questions and discussion.
This is the first of two planned workshops on grants, with the next in the series looking at how to write a successful grant application.
Coombs Seminar Room A – 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm, Monday the 30th of November 2015.
Please RSVP attendance by Monday the 23rd of November to histpg@anu.edu.au
