The School of International Relations (The Institute of Advanced International Studies) at Sun Yat-sen University, is seeking full-time research fellows and research associates from across the globe.
Open Positions
- Research fellows / research associates widely experienced in Oceania Studies (Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific Islands studies) and Chinese-Oceania relations (including environmental history).
- Contract for one, two, or three years and selected researchers after three years could be tenure track.
Qualifications
- Applicants should demonstrate appropriate professional manners and work ethics;
- Applicants should hold a Ph.D degree in history, economic, international politics or international relations or other social science fields.
- Applicants should have good research capability and are able to conduct research in any of the fields as described above;
- Applicants should be no older than 38 years of age (except in outstanding cases)
- Applicants with relevant work experience are highly welcomed.
Remuneration
We offer competitive salary and benefit packages, with the basic salary starting from 140,000-260,000 RMB per annum plus competitive bonus. Successful applicants will be granted funds of around 100,000 RMB.
