Summer school: Edible environments in and beyond Montreal, July 2018

From July 5-13 2018, Anya Zilberstein will offer graduate (and advanced undergraduate) students a one week summer school in Montreal, focusing on the city’s food and environmental history.

Limited fellowships are available to cover the cost of tuition for *non-Canadian* students and everyone will be provided with *free housing* in downtown Montreal, in a newly renovated dormitory on campus (formerly the lovely Grey Nuns monastery). Students will earn 3 transferable credits from Concordia University.

To apply, MA/PhD students (or prospective graduate students finishing a BA degree) should send to Prof. Zilberstein <anya.zilberstein@concordia.ca>:

  1. a brief (no more than 750 word) description of how this summer school will enrich their past, current and/or prospective research;
  2. the name & email address of their thesis supervisor (undergraduate students should provide contact information for two academic references).
