The Australian and New Zealand Environmental History Network continues to build its online resources. As part of the American Society for Environmental History’s (ASEH) Environmental History Week, the Network launched a new series of videos: Snapshots of Australian Environmental History. Over time the Network hopes to enlarge the channel, showcasing unique Australian places, their environmental histories, and the amazing environmental historians who work on them and uncover their pasts. Two videos were launched.

“Magnetic Island and the Great Barrier Reef”, featuring Dr Rohan Lloyd

“Seeing Time: time telling and the environment at Sydney Observatory”, featuring Associate Professor Nancy Cushing

Many thanks to Dr Claire Brennan for editing and shepherding these videos to launch!

Please get in contact with Claire Brennan or Alessandro Antonello if you want to pitch a short video for this new series.
