EOIs open for Co-Editor of Historical Records of Australian Science

The Australian Academy of Science is seeking a Co-Editor for the journal Historical Records of Australian Science. HRAS seeks a new Co-Editor with interest in historical perspectives on Australian science to join the continuing Co-Editor, Professor Ian Rae. Together the editors will continue to make significant contributions to the publication of quality history of science research for a broad audience.

The ideal candidate is someone who has experience in scientific academia or a background in editing journals, has a good track record of publishing in academic journals, strong leadership and teamwork skills, and a vision for the journal’s future. The position is an opportunity to take a leading part in shaping the future of an established journal, unique in Australia and the region.

This is a contract position available for an initial term of two years, with the possibility of extension. The successful applicant must have their own ABN, and the work can be undertaken from anywhere in Australia.
